  Delft is a cool tourist town.  Lots of restaurants around town square with good food, lots of people watching and lots of walking. One bakery in particular had a long line—great cakes in window.  Holland is crazy about soccer.

  Searching for a working parking pay machine, we discovered this busy cafe on the canal for the Birthday Duo Dinner.  Wonderful choice, heartily recommend, especially on a sunny Friday nite with lots of boat activity and cool breezes.  

Rhubarb Trade in Kinsale

Innkeeper Michael McLaughlin of Desmond House in Kinsale, urged us to try his "special" Rhubarb Jam. A friend brings him the rhubarb and in return gets some Jam. Ingredients: rhubarb, ginger, 180 proof rum. Yum!
