Arrived in Apex, NC (big article in WSJ recently) to spend time with daughter Stacy. Great time visiting and exploring. Found a Silver Sneakers location we could actually walk to, except for the high temp and humidity.
Next, we found a short-term furnished apt. in Cary not to far from Stacy. Cary has a great downtown. Best Blue Moon Cake Bakery https://www.bluemoonbakery.com/ and Milk Lab (actually Cary), serving milk tea and Thai rolled Ice Cream.
On to Raleigh: Box Wine in Whole Foods, Bike stand in the shape of the state. and curious restroom sign. New renovations of Moore Park and wonderful First Night activities (except for rain),
