Thinking about my birthday dinner at Frontera Grill in Chicago this winter, maybe 45 degrees out—brrr.   Today it is double that at 90 degrees and we are thinking about where to eat dinner—a new tradition—Friday nite dinner out.

As far as the food, I remember the Margarita, the Happy Birthday dessert and the excitement of the dream come true.  More than that the restaurant walls were full of art, everywhere one looked.  So back to the point of the post,  it isn’t all about the food.

Tonite we will choose a golf course restaurant close to home.  Perhaps outside dining if the temperature agrees, checking out not only the food, service, seating but also the ambiance!
