Thanks Marcie for the recommend! We enjoyed our evening at the Fredericksburg Herb Farm. Hostess passed out cards to guess the number of Easter Eggs around the front fountain—such fun. We had forgotten it was Easter weekend. Could not get a room at the Sunday House which are little cottages on the grounds (name based on historical reference when German settlers came to town to buy supplies on Sunday, they needed a place to stay and called them Sunday houses). Walked part of the downtown Main St. after dinner. Weather invigorating, many people wandering, great way to wash away driving fatigue.

Happy you enjoyed Fredericksburg and the Herb farm. It is one of our favorite weekend getaways and our daughter was married in the Nimitz garden there and had her reception in the museum hall. Safe travels as you. Head west.
