Louvre-Lens in Lens, France recently opened and is a wonderful visit. Right now it is free. This tabletop is amazing with fruits, veggies and leaf designs. I want it. No need for tablecloths or placemats here.
In Calais, they have renovated an ancient lace factory; display the process of lace making with machines, videos in all languages, live demos, and most fun of all a photo display that allows you to put yourself in very stylish lace fashion and send via e-mail.
Frites Museum in Bruges was a lot of reading displays (good info). At the end of the tour, you can treat yourself to genuine Belgium French Fries. Why are they so good you ask? They are of course twice fried in BEEF FAT!!
