Lake Jordan State Park is a beautifully wooded, spacious camping location for staying 4 nites. No wonder it’s so popular—senior rate for site with electric/water is $27.00.
So lest anyone think that RV’ing does not include daily exercise, I report our 3.5 mile walks the last 2 days and a photo of Roy’s inventive use of the site picnic table. (It also works hauled over by the RV, to clean the very broad/high windshield.)
Listening to books provided by Libby (available through local libraries) is a relaxing pastime around the campfire. I can recommend Alexander McCall Smith’s The Uncommon Appeal of Clouds. I really cracked up when the heroine was asked her occupation and replied, “philosopher”. Lots of serious and not so serious subjects to ponder.
Garden Ravioli is a 2-pan meal with sautéed peppers, onions, garlic and cherry tomatoes making the sauce over refrigerated ravioli. Missing is crusty Italian bread and garlic butter. (I can only imagine.) YUM.
Roy has more talents than I knew !
How are you both doing up there in the wilderness?
