Delightful sunny day to walk the wide sidewalks of Concord New Hampshire and scope out a dinner place. Chose The Barley House (https://concord.thebarleyhouse.com)where I enjoyed the Chicken Pot Pie with plenty of veggies and Roy devoured “the best” Roasted Brussels Sprouts. Not pick up Irish band appeared that nite.
Already had succumbed to the bakery goodies at The Crust and Crumb also on Main Street (https://www.thecrustandcrumb.com)for our pre-dinner dessert. Yum.
Surprised to read that Franklin Pierce, our 14th president of the US, had been born nearby.
