Great story of the purchase of this famous bridge spanning the Thames since the 1830’s for approx. $2.6 million in 1968 by Robert McCulloch. The bridge was dismantled granite block by block, numbered, shipped and trucked to Lake Havasu City where it was finished in place in 1971.
