Limited moorings in this small Washington state park but there was one for us. We walked to general store for cheese and besides the mile exercise, had quite an experience at the Norland General Store. It had everything including a friendly meeting place, a US post office (800 families on island), cheese, salmon, halibut, antique displays, and curious story about “the water wars”. Tillamook these made delicious lunch quesadillas; then wonderful cruise back to PT. I will never forget our scary almost run-in with crab fishing boat, Sea Warrior. Suffice it to say he was much bigger than we.
What a great little state park. Love that fireplace in front of the couch in that cool Norland General Store. So cozy. Looks like it was a bit chilly on the island. Might be a problem for a “clothing optional” day!
You sure do find amazing places!
