Where do they all come from—those green tomatoes? In every restaurant we visited for dinner on our way through the south, fried green tomatoes were on the appetizer menu—all served with cheeses, lettuces & special sauces or toppings. Have to admit I prefer my hand-held 2-bite Fried Green Tomato Halves the best for a Veggie’Tizer! I will have to hunt up that recipe and post.
